Our team helped define the event’s strategic vision, masterplan, governance model, and legacy plan, and crafted the bid dossier that impressed delegates at the 194th UCI Congress in September 2025.
After Milano Cortina 2026, Italy once again took center stage in the Olympic world with the awarding of the Dolomiti Valtellina Youth Olympic Games 2028.

As WePlan, we provided strategic advisory services to the bidding committee, supporting the development of the candidature file that was approved by the 143rd IOC Session in January 2025
Weplan was selected by the RCRC – Royal Commission for Riyadh City – to lead the development of Riyad’s bid to host World Expo 2030, as part of a joint team with the French company Avisa.
Our team’s experience and knowledge of the World Expo application process allowed us to provide a strategic vision, a tailored operational approach and support to the bid committee with the key project management activities related to the candidacy process.
Weplan supported the Milano Cortina 2026 Bid Committee throughout the candidacy process, successfully establishing Italy as the Host Nation of the XXV Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2026.
Our team was responsible for the preparation of the candidacy dossier, including the project management of all related activities.
Weplan was selected by the CSC – Courmayeur Service Centre – to develop Courmayeur’s candidacy dossier to host the G7 Summit of the Heads of State and Heads of Government in 2024, under the Italian Presidency.
The campaign was built around a prestigious location at the service of Italy and in support of its international positioning.
Weplan developed a feasibility study – commissioned by CORIS (Consortium for the Health Research in Veneto) – that was subsequently submitted to the Italian Presidency of the Council for evaluation.
The feasibility study was designed to present and promote Venice and the Veneto Region’s bid to regional and national stakeholders in order to garner support for the candidacy.
