In March 2015, Weplan was selected to support the Italian Golf Federation in its bid to host the 2022 Ryder Cup in Rome.
Our team supported the Italian Golf Federation in preparing the candidacy dossier and with all related project management activities.
On 14th December 2015, Ryder Cup Europe selected the Italian project over those put forward by Austria, Germany and Spain.
We are proud to have been part of a close-knit team led by Italian Golf Federation President Franco Chimenti, whose hard work was rewarded with an amazing opportunity for the Italian Golf Federation and for the country as a whole.
